Hi @musicfreak just checking in to see how you are going. Its been 4 weeks since your post and you mentioned that you had some challenging events coming up including your mum’s anniversary and the start of placement, while at the same time caring for your ailing cat. This is such a lot to handle all at once so we’re just letting you know that we’ve been thinking of you…and hoping you’ve been able to navigate these challenges ok.

It was great to see you’ve been engaging with some self-care strategies including your psych, counsellor and mindfulness…how have these been serving you? Have you checked out the tools for relaxation on our online resource hub? The Reflecting on Positive Experiences and Mindfulness exercises could be beneficial to you especially those times when your depression and anxiety is intense.

We would also highly recommend our information page on coping with grief – there are some really constructive tips there which may help with your ongoing grief over the loss of your mum.

We hope that you will find the time to let us know how you’re going. Our online community is growing every day and no doubt there are now others who can empathise with what’s going on for you. So please feel welcome to post again. Your voice is a very valued part of our community. 🌸
