The holiday season can be especially tough for those of us grieving, with feelings of sadness and loneliness often intensifying. At Griefline, we’ve been offering compassionate support for nearly 40 years. “December is our busiest month, with calls increasing by 89% this year,” says Louisa Smith. Our free helpline is available every day, including Christmas Day. We provide trained volunteers and online resources with tips for coping, like acknowledging your feelings, setting realistic expectations, and honoring your loved one.
