Oh my, I just walked to the servo to get cat food, past the skate park which my son used to own. They finally cleared the bushes for the side entrance, which he and his mates campaigned the council for years. I took photos and was talking out loud to him, telling him all about it ( it’s ok I was alone, no one could hear me ). Kinda wished there were kids at the skate park but too rainy. First time I’ve walked past since the week he died. I sat there one dusk reminsicing, but felt outta place since I didn’t have a child there.
Actually, I’m going to try one of our fav skate videos, it’s of my eldest sons’s friends, even if you’re not into skating I hope you will appreciate the video of where, I live, where my kids used to skate, but especially the song that goes with the video ” I built a home” Cinematic orchestra.
