At Griefline, we rely on the generosity and creativity of supporters like you to help us provide hope, healing, and support to grieving Australians. Whether you’re taking on a personal challenge, hosting an event, or celebrating a milestone, your fundraiser can make a real difference.

Why fundraise for Griefline?

When you fundraise for us, you’re helping:

  • Provide free grief and loss support services.
  • Develop educational resources to build grief literacy in the community.
  • Advocate for the needs of those grieving and ensure their voices are heard.
Community fundraising activities: A collage featuring macaron sales, a group running event, a sausage sizzle fundraiser, and a garage sale, symbolizing collective efforts to support local causes and build community connections.

Fundraising ideas

1. Ask for donations instead of gifts

Celebrate your birthday, wedding, or Christmas by asking friends and family to donate to Griefline instead of giving gifts.

2. Host an event

Organise a fun run, trivia night, morning tea, or bake sale to bring your community together and support Griefline.

3. Take on a challenge

Challenge yourself to a marathon, cycling event, or other personal goal and invite your network to sponsor you.

4. Create something unique

Tap into your creativity—host an art auction, sell handmade items, or teach a class, with proceeds going to Griefline.

Suggested fundraising platforms

To make fundraising simple, we recommend using secure and reputable platforms:

GoFundMe: Perfect for personal and community-driven campaigns.
