Debunking grief myths: understanding the truth behind healing

Marianne Bowdler (Griefline) and Cathy Banks (NALAG) bust grief myths and help us understand the grief journey more deeply.

Grief is deeply personal and doesn’t follow a one-size-fits-all timeline. Join us as we debunk common myths about grieving, such as the misconception that time alone heals all wounds or that a sudden improvement in mood means grief is over.

Discover why tears aren’t the only indicator of sorrow and how grief is a unique journey for everyone. From addressing the misconceptions about grieving in children and adults to understanding the flexibility of grief stages, we’ll explore what really matters in navigating loss.

Join us in our latest Courageous Conversation where Marianne Bowdler (Griefline) and Cathy Banks (NALAG) bust the grief myths and embrace a more compassionate and informed approach to grief, and find comfort in knowing that there’s no “right” way to grieve—just your way.
