Give yourself time and be gentle with yourself. You don’t need to put pressure on yourself to “remain positive.” Allow yourself to feel the emotions and grieve in your way. As for the triggers in your house, it might help to go through her belongings and sort through them one by one, with a friend or family member if possible. You could also consider finding a support group where you can talk to others who have gone through a similar experience. On the sleep issue, have you tried using the Dodow device for sleep?
