Our thoughts are with those affected by the fires in and around the Perth Hills. Its an ongoing ordeal but already we are aware of significant losses of homes and livelihoods.
If you have been directly affected you may be feeling distressed and overwhelmed so please reach out for support. Local authorities can point you in the right direction for people/organisations in your current location offering mental health first aid – such as the Red Cross. The aim is to ensure you are safe, have your urgent needs met, understand the current bushfire situation and are tapping into your strengths and coping skills to get you through these early stages.
