We are thrilled to share the highlights from our Let’s Talk About Grief impact and fundraising event held on the 22nd of August 2024, at the Victorian Pride Centre in St Kilda. The afternoon was filled with powerful moments, heartfelt stories, and a collective commitment to supporting those who are grieving.
Tim Richardson MP, Parliamentary Secretary for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, set the tone with a compelling opening address, followed by insights into Griefline’s impactful programs and services. Our ambassadors Stephanie Chiu, Sally Douglas, and Imogen Carn led an engaging panel discussion on workplace grief support, sharing their personal experiences and valuable advice.
Attendees connected over delicious canapés provided by ASRC Catering, enjoyed the moving acoustic performance by composer James Henry, and participated in exciting giveaways, including exclusive AFL Grand Final tickets. We were also proud to celebrate our sponsors and partners, including AFL, Swift Electrical, Cygnett, IVE Group, Good Mourning, and ASRC Catering, whose generosity made the day possible.
This event showcased the power of community and the importance of continuing courageous conversations about grief. Explore the highlights of the day in our audio-visual presentation below, and stay tuned for the full recording of our panel discussion, which will be released separately as part of our Courageous Conversations series.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in making a real impact—together. 💜
