Imogen Carn

As Mother's Day approaches, Imogen Carn shares how she maintains her mother's legacy for both herself and her daughter.

Knowing how to find the right support and connection is a common theme we hear from help-seekers who are trying to navigate their grief, especially on celebration and milestone days.

On the eve of Mother’s Day 2024, we caught up with Griefline ambassador and Good Mourning Podcast co-host, Imogen Carn to explore how she navigates her grief journey.

Imogen lost her mother Vanessa to suicide, 9 months after becoming a first-time mother herself. This unexpected tragedy – during a time that should have been blissful – brought months of complicated grief.

Imogen has lived grief experience and with great courage; she is going to share her insight with us in this Courageous Conversation.

About Imogen and Good Mourning

Along her lonely grief journey, Imogen searched for answers and connections. It was by pure chance she met Sally Douglas who’s journey and need for answers aligned with her own. A new friendship began and opportunity for connection and community was born. Together with Sally, Imogen launched the Good Mourning grief podcast.

The Good Mourning goal is to empower and support individuals through the pillars of resilience, community, and connection when life takes an unexpected turn. For more information, and to tune into their podcast, visit: https://goodmourning.com.au/

Imogen also happens to be a Griefline ambassador and inspiring speaker. Visit Imogen’s speaker profile page here.
