    Hi ylan2001,

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your teacher. The loss of someone significant to you can cause some really intense emotions, and the sudden nature of their passing in this situation only makes things tougher. It can be helpful in times like this to lean on your support network, perhaps if you have friends or peers that also knew your teacher you may be able to offer some support to one another.

Please feel free to reach out to our team from 9-6pm Monday to Friday or 12-6pm on the weekends on 1300 845 745.

Thank you for reaching out. I am so sorry for the loss of your high school teacher. Sounds like they were a great teacher that was very understanding of your situation even when your marks were not as expected.

It is natural to have some emotions come out now that she is not with you anymore. Please be kind to yourself and reach out for support from other students that are grieving her loss and other teachers.

If you feel comfortable, you may be able to find a way to continue the bonds that you shared with her, such as picking some flowers in memory of her.

Here is a link to a Griefline resource that may help you understand any feelings you are having. https://griefline.org.au/resources/experiences-of-grief/
