She loved long walks, especially in the bush or near the sea. Along the way, birds, animals and pretty nature would be pointed out excitedly. I always know I am the unexpected blessing to Mum. It is hard to believe she’s left. Thursday, she passed.
I miss my Mum so much but she’s resting now. See you in the morning, Mumma xo

    Dear winghedge81

Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful memories you had with your mum and the special bond you had with her. Walks in the bush and the sea with her are special moments that you will hold in your heart forever.

It is completely normal to feel disbelief as it has only been a few days since her passing. Grief comes in waves and whatever you are feeling right now is valid. Those words “See you in the morning” are very special and her love and spirit lives through you.

See a resource link: https://griefline.org.au/resources/experiences-of-grief/ which may help you make sense of your feelings in the days and weeks to come.

Please be gentle with yourself in the following days and reach out if you need to talk. We are here to listen while you remember her or just share how you are feeling. You can reach out to Griefline helpline if you would like to connect and chat with a caring volunteer. Please reach out on 1300 845 745. We are open from 9-6pm Mon-Fri and 12-6pm Sat-Sun AEST.

    Take care.
