Persian Online Counseling Service

This service is available to all Australian Persian Community members, i.e. Afghans, Iranians and Tajikistanies.

The Service is available through the GriefLine website, accessed through the GriefLine Anonymous Online Counselling Link. Please mention that you would like a Persian speaking counsellor, or your country of origin if writing your message in English.

 The GriefLine Persian Team are counsellors who are:

  • Australian Counseling Association Accredited counselors
  • have teaching experience
  • Fluent in Persian (speaking/writing)
  • Familiar with the cultural values and norms
  • Familiar with the societal situation in Persian speaking Countries 

How does it work:

  • The Persian Online Counseling Service is identical to the GriefLine Online Service, but you can respond in Persian
  • You don't need to use the Persian font to send your inquiries, you might use Pinglish; however we highly recommend you install the Persian fonts on your computer.
  • This service is Free and accessible to all, refugees, temporary/permanent residents, students and Australian Citizens.
  • You can send your inquiries any time, and they will be responded to on Tuesdays and Fridays, between 10am and 5 pm.
